David Brown
Teacher, Educationist and Human Rights advocate
David joined our management board after 35 years in the educational sector. David is extremely passionate about supporting people living with disabilities having been a teacher and head teacher for special needs children.
He believes in the Lufton College of Further Education’s effective individualised curriculum, which ensures that, the specific needs and aspirations of students are met. He has therefore implemented this approach in our training programs, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
Caroline Jones
Social Worker, Best Interest Assessor and Safeguarding enthusiast
Caroline has over 25 years’ experience, working with people who have learning and physical disabilities. She has worked as a social worker, commissioner, safeguarding lead and service manager within the NHS and Local Authorities.
Caroline brings along her wealth of experience to LDRC and has immensely contributed to designing the various services we offer. To Caroline, giving people with disabilities a choice and control is imperative. This is a philosophy we value and embrace at LDRC.

Mary James
Educational
Psychologist
Mary is a psychologist for people with mental health needs and learning disabilities. She has a career spanning 35 years, working within the NHS and Educational system, to ensure the psychological wellbeing of vulnerable people.
Mary joined our management board in 2017 and has since enhanced the services we offer, with the view of ensuring that they address the psychological and emotional needs of our service users.
