Safety Training Sessions

Safety Training Sessions

We are aware of the provisions of the Care Act 2014 relating to the protection of vulnerable individuals. As a result, keeping our clients safe is just as crucial as giving them power. As a result, our “be safe” session focuses on educating our clients on the many types of abuse and ensuring that they understand how to recognize it, seek help, and report it to the appropriate people or agencies.

The abuse types outlined below are the focus of the session:

Abuse of the physical kind.

Abuse of a sexual nature

Emotional/
Psychological.

Financial exploitation.

Abuse in institutions.

Neglect.

We anticipate our clients to leave these sessions with a greater awareness of the many types of abuse and the confidence to challenge it, seek help, and report it appropriately.

Professionals and commissioners love our Safety Training Session because it empowers clients in a unique way. Other agencies do not currently provide this service; hence it is a one-of-a-kind service supplied by DSAT.
